Brief of the Video:

The second in the transformer series, this lecture focuses on the ideal transformer--its principle of action and device features. The session moves on from hysteresis to eddy currents and includes a discussion on the phasor representation of transformers. This lecture is conducted by Prof. L. Umanand of Power Electronics Group-IISc Bangalore.
