Toshiba Electronics Europe launched a series of low-dropout regulators (LDOs), the TCR2LN/LE/LF.

The LDO regulators are available in a small SDFN4 package as well as SOT-553 and SOT-25 packages. The TCR2LN/LE/LF may be used with consumer devices that require long battery life such as wearable devices, smartphones, tablet PCs and portable game consoles. The 200mA output TCR2LN/LE/LF series features low quiescent bias current and low dropout voltage.

TCR2LN/LE/LF LDO regulators

Toshiba's LDO regulators are available in fixed output voltages between 0.8V and 3.6V and feature over-current protection and an auto-discharge option. Using a fine analogue IC process for advanced CMOS, the TCR2LN/LE/LF series realises low bias current characteristics by reducing the bias current to 2µA (max) in comparison to the existing TCR2EN series.

The new LDO regulators are available now in small SDFN4 (0.8mm x 0.8mm x 0.38mm) and general purpose SOT-553 and SOT-25 packages.
