Dual-channel oscilloscope boasts 20MHz analogue bandwidth
Keywords:Farnell element 14 oscilloscope logic analyser pattern generator Raspberry Pi
Farnell element 14 has made available the BitScope Micro that combines an 8-channel logic analyser, arbitrary waveform and pattern generator, clock generator and spectrum analyser, all in a lightweight, watertight and affordable probe. In addition, the device functions as a dual-channel storage oscilloscope with an analogue bandwidth of 20MHz and a digital sample rate of 40MS/s.
The software, available free of charge for the Raspberry Pi as well as for Linux, Windows and OS X, supports frame rates of more than 20Hz. The BitScope Micro comes with ten mixed signal test leads with grabber clips, USB cable and input terminators.
The oscilloscope offers programmable trigger levels on two logic channels, impedance measurement, as well as a "macro mode" resolution on both analogue channels. To enable the usage of conventional probes through a BNC connector, the BitScope Micro features standard input impedance for oscilloscopes of 1MΩ/1pF.
The BitScope Micro is available through Farnell element 14 at a price of about $138.
