Laird releases advanced antenna technologies

Laird Technologies Inc. has announced that it will release next-generation antenna solutions for the broadband and telecom industries. Laird provides solutions with superior wireless connectivity and enhanced performance to the global telecom industry.

The company's CMD69273 Dual Port MIMO antenna system features a low profile Radome with a low PIM design. CMD69273 claims to be the first LTE MIMO antenna on the market and offers a complete 4G solution with exceptional coverage.

Laird will also release the PAS69278 LTE MIMO Panel Antenna for telecom and cellular use. The device covers a wide frequency band of 698-960MHz/1700-2700MHz to support global LTE coverage. It also features a low PIM design and a weatherproof UV stable Radome.

"CommunicAsia 2013 is Asia's largest integrated information communication event," said Dion Chua, Laird territory sales manager. "Laird delivers innovative high-performance LTE MIMO antennas that are ideal for this audience."

Laird will also be showcasing these devices at the CommunicAsia 2013 event that will be held Singapore. The company will also introduce at the event public safety antenna solutions including samples of the M8 vehicular mount and antenna that will be released later this year. Designed for rugged environments, the M8 base and whips are moulded with high impact, UV resistant polycarbonate materials and use high-quality coaxial cables and connectors.
