Posted: 06 Jun 2013     Print Version  Bookmark and Share

Keywords:MIFARE  interface card  ISO/IEC 14443-3

This document tackles how to differentiate between the members of the MIFARE interface card IC family. The ISO/IEC 14443-3 describes the initialisation and anti-collision procedure for type A, which delivers the card type information for all MIFARE cards.

The MIFARE cards are ISO/IEC 14443-3 compatible. Therefore already existing applications can easily be extended to operate with newer MIFARE chips respectively all other ISO/IEC 14443-3 compatible PICCs.
