BHEL hiring 500 engineering graduates

India's largest engineering and manufacturing enterprise Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) is looking to hire 500 engineering graduates this year.

The state-run company invites applications for the position of 'Engineer Trainee' in the mechanical, electrical, and electronics engineering disciplines.

BHEL Recruitment 2013-14 Details:

Total nos. of vacancies: 500

Name of Discipline:

Mechanical: 300 vacancies

Electrical: 150 vacancies

Electronics: 50 vacancies

Commencement of online submission of applications: Jan. 3, 2013

Closing of online submission of applications: Jan. 29, 2013 (5:00 PM)

Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor's degree holder in engineering/technology or Five year integrated Master's degree or Dual Degree programme in engineering or technology in the disciplines of mechanical /electrical/electronics engineering.


Engineering degrees obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and electronics and considered as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.

Upper age limit: 27 Years (candidates born before 01/08/1986 are not eligible to apply)

29 years for candidates having two years' full time post graduate in engineering or business administration/management.

How to Apply: To apply for this post, candidates would be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering-2013 (GATE- 2013)

Candidates can apply through online mode from (BHEL recruitment website). Candidates will have to keep their GATE 2013 registration number while applying online. The GATE-2013 Admit Card shall contain the GATE-2013 registration number.

GEN/OBC candidates are required to make non-refundable processing fee of Rs.250. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of this fee.
