Keywords:data transfer controller  direct memory access

In this document, Renesas Electronics describes an overview of the data transfer controller (DTC), a setting method for the RL78/G14, and differences with the direct memory access controller (DMA controller). Activation sources differ depending on the product. The DTC is activated using a peripheral function interrupt and transfers data between memories without going through the CPU.
