Anadigics Inc. debuts the AWB7125 and AWB7225 small-cell power amplifiers (PAs) optimised for Band 5 WCDMA and LTE applications, including picocells, enterprise-class femtocells, and high performance customer premises equipment (CPE).

Anadigics says its small-cell power amplifiers based on its InGaP-Plus technology enable wireless infrastructure solutions that are more thermally-efficient, consume less power, enable higher throughput, and provide greater coverage and range.

The AWB7125 wireless infrastructure PA provides +24.5dBm linear output power, while the AWB7225 provides +27dBm linear output power. Both power amplifiers are optimised for WCDMA, HSPA, and LTE small-cell base stations operating in the 860MHz to 894MHz frequency bands.

The AWB7125 and AWB7225 are available in a compact 7mm x 7mm x 1.3mm surface mount package.

Pre-production samples of the AWB7125 are available now. Engineering samples of the AWB7225 are available now for qualified programmes.
