Movea Inc. unleashes the GestureBuilder software with features such as gesture recognition and gesture database design capabilities.

The software enables Touchless Gestures for control of smartphones, tablets, TV's, STBs and media centre PC's running Linux, Android and Windows 7 (Windows 8 support is also planned).

The GestureBuilder offers customers the capability to create unlimited 2D and 3D gestures using 2- to 9-axes of sensor data from any combination of MEMS accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers.

It captures motion data from combinations of MEMS sensors and leverages Movea's portfolio of proprietary data fusion and signal processing techniques to be able to record and recognise gestures in real-time and optimise gesture databases for performance and accuracy. GestureBuilder's features include in-air gesture creation, edit gesture databases, gesture recognition testing and gesture database management.

Additionally, the software offers recognition options configuration that include tolerance, processing and threshold. It likewise features gesture class cohesion optimisation, automated user experience testing, and identification and reporting of confusing similar gestures.
