Stackpole Electronics Inc. reveals the RWT Series of thermal-fusing, ceramic-housed, vertical-mount wirewound resistors featuring a 142C one-time thermal fuse for accurate, precise and fail-safe operation while ensuring that PCB temperatures remain at safe levels designed to protect against the effects of switching power supply in video displays.

The ceramic housing design of the product makes sure that there will be no exposed metal or debris remaining after fusing. Its all-welded construction provides surge handling capability.

The RWT Series 5 size is recognised by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and is CSA certified.

The series is recommended for use in many types of switching power supply applications and as a power solution for LCD displays and monitors, radios and communication devices. It could also be used for small motor control protection in appliances and in automotive applications.

The RWT Series is available in bulk packaging in quantities that vary depending on size and range from 800-1,500 pieces. Pricing for the RWT in full bulk package quantities also depends on size and ranges from Rs.13.39 ($0.30) to Rs.16.07 ($0.36) each.
