ADLINK Technology Inc. unveils the EOS-2000 ready-to-deploy embedded vision solution featuring an Intel Core2 Duo processor and four independent analogue NTSC/PAL ports with real time image acquisition rates of up to 120fps.

The system is designed for industrial automation applications that require high computing power and multi-camera imaging, such as inspection and alignment. It measures 200 x 165 x 85mm and supports four vision channels, targeting space critical applications. Compared with smart camera solutions in the market, the EOS-2000 claims lower unit cost per channel and more flexible system configurations, and offers software development kit support that allows users to develop their own machine vision solutions.

The EOS-2000 offers I/O options including two RS-232/422/485 ports, four USB ports, 32 isolated digital I/O lines. A SATA interface and a CompactFlash offer slot dual storage options.

The EOS-2000 system can be developed around Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows XP Embedded (XPe), with support for file-based write filter to provide a stable and secure software operating environment.

The EOS-2000 is currently available starting from Rs.80,265.80 ($1,750).
