QuEST Global Engineering, a pure play engineering services provider, is expanding its engineering centre in East Hartford, Connecticut, US, to meet the growing needs of its client Pratt & Whitney for their aerospace customers. This consists of a new third floor with 2438.4 square metres and space for 80 engineers to its dedicated facility which is within two miles of Pratt & Whitney headquarters, and provides office space for more than 170 QuEST employees who serve Pratt & Whitney on aero engines design and project engineering services.

Ajit Prabhu, CEO, QuEST; and Robert Harvey, senior VP, strategic accounts, QuEST Global Engineering, inaugurated the QuEST facility expansion with Al Brockett, VP Engineering-Module Centres, Pratt & Whitney; and Mahesh Patel, manager, Global Engineering Sourcing, Pratt & Whitney.

"QuEST Global has been a valued partner and we are delighted they are expanding their facility in East Hartford to provide us with the engineering services we require to meet the growing needs of our global aerospace customers," said Al Brockett, VP Engineering-Module Centres, Pratt & Whitney.

QuEST provides complete life-cycle integrated engineering services on both a local and global level," said Robert Harvey, senior VP, QuEST Global Engineering. "We will continue to provide a combination of functional and domain expertise through our Local-Global Delivery Model, to attain the highest level of customer satisfaction. This expansion will open up additional aerospace career opportunities and we look forward to aggressively growing our capabilities and services and the value we deliver to Pratt & Whitney."

QuEST Global's relationship with United Technologies and Pratt & Whitney dates back to 2002, when a dedicated engineering design team was first established in East Hartford. The East Hartford employees work on many key programmes at Pratt & Whitney.
