Low-cost USB boundary scan controller debuts

JTAG says that the JTAGLive USB Controller is the result of requirement from users for a dedicated, low-cost connection system that functions "out of the box" with the JTAGLive suite. The controller features a single test access port in JTAG Technologies' standard pin-out, has a maximum programmable TCK speed of 6MHz and offers programmable output voltages and input thresholds.

It is designed for use with the JTAGLive suite of software tools, which includes the free-of-charge continuity tester Buzz, the interactive cluster test generator Clip and the Python-based boundary-scan scripting system Script.

JTAGLive USB Controller is priced at Rs.12,374.45 ($265).
