E+E reveals the infrared-based, energy-conscious EE892 CO2 sensor that touts an "extremely compact" design for enhanced ventilation and an adjustable measuring interval reducing the average power consumption to less than 60µA, which means it can run on batteries. The sensor targets OEM applications and high-volume production.

The patented autocalibration process makes the nondispersive infrared technology sensor maintenance-free as it automatically compensates for the effects of ageing. The EE892 boasts of "exceptional" measuring accuracy, as well as a broad measuring range of up to 10,000ppm, making it ideal for energy-sensitive universal and flexible applications.
