It is highly configurable and has a small memory footprint. The TCP/IP stack is packaged with a configuration wizard that can generate the framework code required to develop a networked application and numerous examples to jump-start development and minimise time to market.

The TCP/IP stack is freely available for use with Silicon Laboratories MCUs and can be downloaded from the company's Website. It is also included in the Embedded Ethernet Development Kit (Ethernet-DK) and the Embedded Modem Development Kit (Modem-DK).
