Rohm's low-ON resistance MOSFETs

Rohm has unveiled a new dual-element, low ON-resistance MOSFET series that features all the characteristics of SOP8 products in a thinner, more compact design. The MPT6 Dual MOSFET features a compact, high power MPT6 package (4540(1816) size: 4.5-by-4-by-1mm, 2W) reduces mounting area and height by 40 per cent while retaining the same package power as the SOP8 type (5060(2024) size: 5.0 ? 6.0 ? 1.75mm, 2W)

Newly developed low ON-resistance elements in the series ensure large current handling capability: ID=6A max (MP6K62)

Both mounting area and thickness are reduced by 40 per cent, increasing design flexibility and making them suitable for use in power switches and motor drivers of compact devices, such as car navigation systems, portable DVD players, notebook PCs and gaming devices

Rohm will release three models in the series, which include MP6K61, MP6K62 and MP6M63. MP6K61 and MP6K62 three parts has an Nch + Nch configuration while MP6M63 features an Nch + Pch configuration. All parts have a total power dissipation of 2 and drain voltage lost of 30.

Sample price for the devices starts at Rs.35.93 (85 cents).
