Vishay Intertechnology announced the release of the SiP41111 high-frequency 75V half-bridge n-channel MOSFET driver IC that delivers a 2A peak sink and source gate-driver current. The driver may be used in high-intensity discharge lamps in automobiles, as well as in high-voltage buck converters, push-pull converters, full- and half-bridge converters, active-clamp forward converters, power supplies, motor control and class D audio systems.

The SiP41111 features a bootstrap supply voltage up to 75V, accommodates a supply voltage range from 9V to 13.2V and can drive a 1,000pF load with typical rise and fall times of 10ns. An on-chip 1.5Ω bootstrap diode helps reduce external component count and under voltage protection pushes the outputs to low if needed, after which the device turns on again automatically. The driver is housed in SOIC-8 and thermally-enhanced PowerPAK SOIC packages.

Samples are available. Pricing begins at Rs.38.52 (85 cents) in 1,000-piece quantities.
