Fairchild touts 'first' 4:1 analogue multiplexer
Keywords:Fairchild FHP3194 multiplexer xx xx
Fairchild Semiconductor says its FHP3194 is the industry's first 1.2GHz 4:1 analogue multiplexer. Boasting an 800MHz small-signal and 500MHz large-signal (-3dB) bandwidth, the FHP3194 touts approximately 25 per cent higher bandwidth than competing devices.
Thus it's the industry's only multiplexer, according to the company, with a bandwidth capable of exceeding the high-resolution requirements for high-definition (HD), 1080p and 1080i, and PC graphic video signals. With 0.1dB gain flatness to 90MHz at 2Vp-p, it also ensures predictable performance in high-frequency designs.
Additional features include high slew rate (2,200V/µs) for optimal pulse response; disable/shutdown options; single 5V supply capability for power savings; and high output current (±75mA) for driving dual-video loads.
The Pb-free FHP3194, available in either a TSSOP-14 or an SOIC-14 package, is priced at Rs.81.48 ($1.79) each in 1,000 pieces. Delivery is 12 weeks ARO.
