MMD Components (Monitor & Quartztek) has developed a series of military-grade temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) that have been tested and screened per MIL-PRF-55310 and MIL-STD-883 Class B standards.
The MG-TCXO series can maintain a frequency stability of 1ppb over an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C using proprietary compensation and stabilization methods. The devices offer a frequency range of 1MHz to 100MHz and an input of 3.3-, 5-, 12- or 15V. Customers have a choice of sine wave, HCMOS, TTL or PECL outputs. Custom frequencies and input voltages are available.
The TCXOs are rad-hardened to 20K. The devices can withstand swept sine vibration of 20G, 10Hz to 500Hz, and mechanical shock of 500G, half-sine pulse at 0.1ms. The frequency control devices also come in a variety of packages—14-pin DIL (dual in-line), 1-by-1-inch, and 9-by-14mm. Custom packages can be specified.
Pricing starts at $85 each in quantities of 100. Delivery is from stock to 18 weeks.
