MaxAir vent panels from Laird Technologies

Laird Technologies has introduced its newly patented MaxAir vent panel product line. The RoHS-compliant products provide greater airflow and EMI protection for electronic enclosures and cabinets used in the military and telecommunications industries.

The environmentally friendly and dent-resistant vent panels feature nickel copper-plated polycarbonate honeycomb material to provide a rigid medium, which is said to eliminate the need for costly frame designs. This also allows for greater airflow through the entire honeycomb surface and offers ease of installation as a result of its press-to-fit assembly, said the company.

The MaxAir vent panels are available in varying densities of material to meet specific levels of rigidity requirements. UL94 V0 versions are also available. The honeycomb cell size can be 3.18mm or 6.35mm in standard thicknesses of 6.35mm and 12.7mm.

The MaxAir vent panel product line is available today and is priced between Rs.11.62 (25 cents) and Rs.37.18 (80 cents) per square inch depending on material and design requirements.
