Kingston develops low power memory modules

Kingston Technology Co. Inc. has announced the ValueRAM DDR2 ECC and ECC memory modules as its memory technology supporting next-generation AMD Opteron processors. These memory modules leverage AMD64 technology with energy-efficient DDR2 memory and AMD PowerNow! technology capabilities to deliver stability, reliability and high performance.

The ValueRAM DDR2 ECC and ECC memory features speeds of up to 667MHz, higher data bandwidths, lower power consumption and enhanced thermal performance.

The ValueRAM DDR2 ECC and ECC memory modules are currently available in 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB configurations to support high-end computing. Each module endures 24 hours of burn-in reliability testing, extensive dynamic testing and visual inspection. ValueRAM DDR2 memory comes with a lifetime warranty and 24/7 technical support.
