KTR series thick-film chip resistors

Rohm has used a proprietary structure and trimming process to produce the KTR series thick-film chip resistors that deliver more than double the voltage resistance than conventional products. This allows the use of just one resistor in high-voltage circuits that typically would require several.

The KTR10 (0805 size) and KTR18 (1206 size) resistors feature a rated power of 1/8W and 1/4W with a limiting element voltage of 300V and 400V, respectively. Resistance tolerances of ±1 per cent and ±5 per cent are available for both products. These devices are Pb-free and RoHS compliant.

Key applications include camera flash circuits and display backlight inverters.

Pricing information is available from the company. Part numbers ending in J denote ±5 per cent tolerance and numbers ending in F denote a ±1 per cent tolerance. Delivery is eight to ten weeks. Samples are available.
