Keywords:Vince Biancomano  Lambda  AC/DC  NV-175

The latest additions to Lambda's NV-175 series of AC/DC supplies have a variable-speed, temperature-controlled low-noise fan for 200W peak-power applications. Specifically designed for tight installations where system airflow is not available, the single and multiple power supplies are suited for medical, light industrial, test and data communications equipment.

Working from a universal input, the NV-175 is available with one to five outputs that provide from 0.9V to 28V and output currents up to 25amps depending on the output configuration. Models with a 12V and 24V main output can deliver up to 200W peak for one minute for motors and pumps.

The units, measuring 3.32-by-6.4-by-1.63 inches (versus the 3-by-5-by-1.25-inches of the standard NV-175), are rated for operation over 0 to 50°C at full power, derated to 50 per cent of full power at 70°C.

All NV-175 models carry the CE mark; conform to UL60950-1, EN60950-1, EN60601-1 and EN61010 standards; and meet EN55022 Level B EMI with less than 300µA ground leakage current.
