Keywords:Epson Toyocom  FA-20H  crystal unit

Epson Toyocom Corp. has announced the development of the FA-20H, a 2.5-by-2mm, high-stability, high-sensitivity AT crystal unit which features a low CI value in the low frequency band.

A micro-miniature surface-mount crystal unit whose small size was enabled by the company's proprietary microprocessing technology for miniature crystal chips, the FA-20H features a low CI (equivalent series impedance) value in the low frequency band. It also promises to deliver more than sufficient stability and sensitivity to enable its use in reference clock applications for mobile handsets.

The FA-20H crystal unit is designed primarily for mobile handset reference clocks, as well as a variety of clock applications for Bluetooth and terrestrial digital TV modules.

Shipping of the crystal unit will begin in May 2006.
