Mini-box.com (Ituner Networks) says that its picoPSU-120 is the world's tiniest PC power supply. Delivering up to 120W (140W peak) from a 12V input, the 5-output DC/DC supply measures just 31-by-45-by-20mm.

That's about the size of two AA batteries, making it one-tenth the size of a standard PC supply at the same power level, according to the company. The picoPSU, fully compliant with ATX specifications, is compatible with all Mini-ITX main boards and standard motherboards. The supply is also compatible with 1U server rack requirements. Its small size also suits it to robotics applications.

The picoPSU-120, which weighs 27g without cable harness (57g including cable harness), delivers up to 6A at 5V, 1.5A at 5V, 6A at 3.3V, 7A at 12V, and 50mA at -12V for the CPU and an entire range of peripherals (via ATX connector and HDD cable harness). It does not require a fan for cooling, and is "100 per cent silent," according to the company. MTBF is 100kh at 55°C. The picoPSU-120 is priced at Rs.2,211.78 ($49.95).
