Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys and Take Solutions have submitted their letters of consent to be part of setting up Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) in Tamil Nadu. The first institute in Tamil Nadu will come up in Sethurapatty in Tiruchi, according to Hindu Business Line.

“We need three or four more companies,” said Dr T. S. Sridhar, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education, Tamil Nadu.

As per the Union Ministry of HRD, nearly 20 IIITs are being planned across the country under the PPP model.

hey setup R& D centers in parallel computing, multi-core OS, manycore OS . OPenflow, storage networking, TCS/infosys invest your money in core computing/networking/data storage/bug data R& D instead of funding expensive vacations/life-style of your executives.
