TCS to set up Rs.500 crore tech campus in Indore

India's leading IT company Tata Consultancy Services is setting up a software development campus in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, with an investment of Rs.500 crore.

The TCS Indore campus, to be located in the SEZ Area allotted by the Madhya Pradesh government, will be set up in two phases.

The TCS campus will comprise software engineering blocks, training facilities, amphitheatre among other facilities.

N Chandrasekaran, CEO and MD, TCS, said, "Indore is among the fastest growing cities in India by virtue of its business ecosystem and infrastructure development. The city has a good potential to transform into a knowledge hub. TCS' investment will further boost the economy of the state by nurturing the development of talent and re-instilling inclusive growth."

"We welcome Tata Consultancy Services to set up its campus in Indore focused on IT and BPO services. We are certain that TCS' entry into the state will open new avenues for economic development of the state," MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, added.
