Freescale Semiconductor India today launched 'Design With Freescale' (DWF), part of a global training programme created to inspire and equip design engineers with the latest semiconductor technologies. Freescale announced a series of training sessions and workshops across Pune, New Delhi and Bangalore. The programmes are scheduled for August 12-13 in Pune, August 19-20 in New Delhi and August 28 in Bangalore. Registrations are open from July 20, 2008 for interested individuals and companies.

"It is our endeavour to assist young engineers and students to adopt new technologies. India is now recognised for its prowess in cutting-edge design and world-class talent pool. With India moving up the design value chain, we believe engineers will benefit immensely from the hands-on approach of these training programmes," said Sanjeev Keskar, country manager sales, Freescale Semiconductor India Pvt. Ltd. "These programmes have worked well globally and we hope participants in India will be inspired to test the boundaries of creativity and innovation", adds Sanjeev.

The training programmes are scheduled to cover the following products—microcontrollers, Ethernet & USB based applications, i.MX processors and Power Architecture micro processors, which are used in applications across consumer, industrial, wireless, and networking sectors.
