eInfochips together with ObjectVideo have introduced eIntelliServe, the world's first multi-channel, lowest cost-per-channel video server, packaged with the ObjectVideo OnBoard 5.0 digital signal processor-based suite of analytics software tools.

eIntelliServe's out of the box solution integrates with the legacy CCTV, saving substantially on integration and cabling costs. eIntelliServe possesses capabilities to process four analogue camera's video through ObjectVideo OnBoard 5.0 analytics, enabling users to remotely access intelligent video over an IP network. eIntelliServe is an ideal solution for homeland, critical infrastructure, transportation, banking and retail or wherever there is a need to migrate analogue solutions to high performance digital solutions.

"The eIntelliserve will enable new price-performance points in the intelligent surveillance market," said Pratul Shroff, CEO, eInfochips. "The video surveillance market is witnessing transition from CCTV cameras to IP based cameras. The global surveillance market is expected to grow from Rs.22,246.56 crore ($5.5 billion) in 2007 to more than Rs.36,403.46 crore ($9 billion) in 2011. We see immense potential for eIntelliserve as it provides industry standard interoperability and easily integrates with exiting analogue cameras without scrapping prior investments."

eIntelliServe sets a new standard for network-supported security and video surveillance technology by providing robust video content analysis on multiple channels. The product offers multiple customer benefits, including on-the-fly high performance video analytics that require only a few mega bytes of storage, reducing storage space and network bandwidth. ObjectVideo OnBoard 5.0 video content analysis technology allows rule-based object detection, classification, tracking and real-time alerting. The product integrates easily with legacy CCTV systems, leveraging the existing IP-based network infrastructure to reduce total set-up, maintenance and installation costs.

eIntelliserve offers a scalable architecture that can be easily customised to build standalone 4/12 channel video servers or multi channel server racks. The high performance solution, which offers a high-density video server based on TI DM643x DaVinci Technology, supports H.264 & MPEG4 video compression and resolutions up to D1 for real time video streaming. It's simple and intuitive GUI (Graphical User interface) allows multi channel viewing, system configuration and alerts that can be easily integrated with an alarm management security system. The solution is targeted for OEMs and security systems providers building next generation IP surveillance systems.

Brian Eckert, VP of sales and marketing, ObjectVideo said,"By incorporating ObjectVideo OnBoard 5.0 into eIntelliserve, eInfochips' customers will now be able to experience the power of ObjectVideo's advanced video analytics capabilities without the challenge of high integration and management costs."
