Keywords:multiplexer  PXI  switches  Pickering  xx

Pickering Interfaces has expanded its range of PXI switching modules with the introduction of high-density solid-state multiplexers. The 40-468 switching module family is aimed at low-current and low-voltage applications where speed of operation, long service life and low contact bounce are key requirements.

The 40-680 is available in a variety of configurations including a 160-channel single bank multiplexer, a 20-bank 8-channel multiplexer and a 4-pole 40-channel multiplexer. The 40-680 is able to handle voltages to greater than ±15V and offers a low typical on resistance of 150Ω.

The 40-680 includes fault protection that ensures that if the module power is off the multiplexer is protected from voltages greater than 40V. The switching module family is compatible with any PXI chassis and is supplied with a complete range of drivers. The 40-680 can be used with the company's 60-100 LXI modular switching chassis series.
