Jataayu Software has announced its jB5 with Adaptive Rendering Technology (ART) HTML browser technology. The company claims that unlike other browser offerings today, jB5 with ART not only supports the standards and specifications that govern the internet world, but adds significant functionality by supporting the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standards. Jataayu is showcasing its jB5 with ART technology at the 3GSM show, Barcelona, from February 13-16, 2006.

Jataayu's Adaptive Rendering Technology (ART) provides the flexibility to select the rendering mechanism best suited for the variety of device capabilities in use today and provides for a continuous enhancement of adaptation algorithms.

"Jataayu believes that the browser is the key element in any mobile device, and the principal interface for access to mobile data services. With the announcement of jB5 with ART HTML browser technology, Jataayu has taken a decisive step forward in enabling its vision of ubiquitous mobile browsing enabled on the widest range of handsets", said Mr. Mahesh Jain, managing director, Jataayu Software.

"jB5 with ART lets handset manufacturers harness the unique capabilities of mobile devices—push, telephony integration and location awareness along with providing the most usable adaptation of web pages for mobiles—all this with features that are naturally selectable individually, to fine tune memory footprints to meet target requirements of the widest range of handsets," said Mr. Arun Tanksali, Director Engineering at Jataayu.

jB5 with ART is built on the Jataayu Client Framework (JCF), the foundation on which Jataayu's Handset Application suite is integrated. The Handset Applications suite comprises WAP and HTMLbrowser, MMS, IMPS, email, SyncDS, SyncDM, OMA Over-the-air programming (OTA) and the OMA Download Client applications.
